these pictures: indoor picnic party in the cafeteria for one of my taiwainese friends, party in the little student lounge for a mongolian friend's birthday, the monkeys lounging about on monkey mountain (or "saruyama" in japanese), another party (one of maybe three or four) for the mongolian guy, and the middle school kids welcoming us.

Tell Bayara I say Happy Birthday to him and I'm sorry I'm late and don't have a Minnesota postcard for him. Nor a keychain, for that matter, and if I did, it certainly would not be made of some sheep's vertebrae. It would probably be plastic or metal. Maybe a rock.
I just remembered I was in Japan. What the hell was I doing there? Even though it was uncomfortable and awkward sometimes, I just got a nostalgic feeling for it.
Shoot. I have to go plan another trip now. I just got the travel bug. Again.
